Project Description:
Drishtee has taken up a training assignment to train more than 10,000 Below Poverty Line candidates. Such a training program would be conducted at the village level to facilitate the participation of weaker sections especially women.

Reporting Manager: Sales Co-ordinator (Drishtee Divisional Office)
Duration: Minimum: 3mnths Maximum:6mths

Location: Western U.P ( Mathura, Hathra) Or Eastern Rajasthan( Bharatpur)
Compensation: None
Cost Covered: Accomodation, Travel related to work, Food
Hiring Manager: Division Commander, Training
Process of Enrollment: Simple exchange of letter. No agreement.
Minimum Qualifications: Senior Secondary

 KRAs of Training Intern :

He or she will be a Trainer,Facilitator and Mentor

  1. Be a trainer to a group of nearly 40-50 poor candidates in generic soft skills such as effective communication/personality/grooming/basic accounts etc
  2. Be a facilitator for a batch of nearly 60-80 candidates for a specialised vocational training such as Masonry/Security Guards/Small Scale production etc.
  3. Be a mentor to Drishtee's entrepreneurs in the same Panchayat.
  4. Resource person for the assigned Panchayat.

Drishtee Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, is currently looking for a suitable experienced person in the role of Senior Researcher / Programme Coordinator, who is capable to manage social research projects end-to-end (i.e. Questionnaire design, Field Survey, Data Analysis and Report Writing). The report writing skill is a must, and has to be of excellent quality.

 

 

Job Specification / Key focus

 

§           Design and Manage consultation and social research projects (variety of qualitative and quantitative research projects);

 

§           Independently handle end-to-end survey/research work (i.e. questionnaire design, planning survey activities, data compilation, data analysis, and report writing);

 

§           Guide team members (surveyors and research assistants) on quantitative methods and statistical issues, including statistical software usage;

 

§           Assist in managing related work in pilot projects at various locations;

 

§           Assist in writing research proposals and bid documentation;

 

§           Team spirit with excellent communication skills (oral and written);

 

 

Candidate Specification

 

The Candidate must be graduate/post-graduate (preferably in social sciences or management) and with minimum 3 years of experience in social research and report writing.  

 

Person(s) with analytical bent of mind and having social research experience with excellent report writing skills need apply only. Preference will be given to candidates who have handled research projects from end to end.

 

Practical/industry experience in research preferred than in academic research.
