Awareness Generation
Drishtee Foundation has been organising meetings at district, block and village level to generate awareness on subjects like, ICT4D, Right to information, Solar power, Micro-finance, Safe drinking water, Economic opportunities, Health related information, etc. These awareness campaigns have helped raise awareness and made people vigilant about their rights and its implications.

Since its inception, DF has been concentrating all its efforts towards the development of weaker and deprived sections of the society. It has worked hard to sensitise people about national and international developments relating to telecentres and their impact on rural economies and livelihoods.

Drishtee Foundation's Operation Chetna provides a dynamic link to reach-out to the last mile and bridge the gap between the telecentre and the end-users. 'Chetna' means awareness and the Operation Chetna continues in different phases targeted for various stakeholders of the ICT model till the ICT implementation cycle completes a full circle starting from government and service provider sensitisation and taking to community sensitization, social audit and focused awareness campaigns.
